Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital & Mental Health Treatment Center in Utah
Our behavioral health and addiction treatment programs are renowned for their unmatched quality of care and support.
Highland Ridge Hospital is an 83-bed behavioral health and addiction treatment center serving adolescents, adults, and seniors. We’re located on ten acres of lush green space, allowing our patients to devote their full attention to a healthy recovery in a calm, secluded setting. Our treatment center is in Midvale, Utah, and serves the greater Salt Lake City area.
Highland Ridge Hospital offers adolescents ages 12 to 17 years old in crisis, particularly those needing immediate stabilization and intervention, a safe, secure and healing environment supported by an experienced and caring staff. It is our goal to educate the community that resources are available and we are here to help anytime, day or night.
For adolescents who are struggling emotionally, behaviorally or academically our programs help the individual develop boundaries, learn appropriate expression of emotions, increase self-esteem, and develop acceptable social skills.
Every individual admitted to inpatient or partial hospital programs receives a comprehensive history and physical exam, a psycho-social evaluation, an addiction assessment, and a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation when indicated. A multi-disciplinary team develops a comprehensive treatment and aftercare plan and then reviews patient progress daily. We provide 24-hour assessments, including physician review.
Individuals can be admitted to our psychiatric treatment programs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We can treat most individuals, regardless of the intensity of the psychiatric illness, since we offer a full continuum of care.
Seeking addiction & co-occurring disorder treatment close to home provides the convenience of getting to our treatment center without the added stress of travel and financial strain associated with travel costs. Instead, you or your loved one can receive the necessary treatment right away and family members can be a much more active part of the recovery process, a fundamental element for long-term success.
