Detoxification

Using the latest nationally recognized detoxification protocols, Highland Ridge Hospital provides a safe, fast and effective detoxification program, individualized for each patient, and overseen by our experienced medical team. Those requiring inpatient detoxification are housed in a secure unit where they receive close medical supervision and special nutritional programs.

Inpatient Rehabilitation Program

The Highland Ridge Inpatient Program is one of the most intensive programs available. Developed over the years to achieve rapid recovery with minimal relapse, we provide multiple groups daily, including: 12-step groups, psychotherapy groups, psycho-educational groups, recreational alternative groups, community milieu groups, family groups and special issues groups.

Each patient also receives individual psychotherapy sessions weekly, daily medication and medical management, family sessions and individualized self-help programs. Individualized treatment plans and patient progress is reviewed daily. Patients and their families also participate in AA, NA, and Alanon groups, hosted by Highland Ridge Hospital.

Partial Hospital Program

Our partial hospital program is offered to patients who do not require 24-hour supervision but still require intensive services. The five-hour, seven day per week program includes the same level and intensity of programming as our inpatient program. Frequent, random drug screens are an integral part of the program. Free temporary housing is offered to out-of-town partial hospital patients.

Intensive Outpatient Program

Day and evening intensive outpatient programs are offered to accommodate schedules of participants. Programs include individual assignments, and three hours of intensive group therapy, four days a week. Additional services can include: individual counseling, family therapy, physical evaluations and medication management. Drug screens are also an integral part of the program. We offer multiple day and evening programs to accommodate varying schedules.

Free Aftercare Services

Aftercare planning is initiated at time of admission. Highland Ridge provides a continuum of step-down care and also maintains a network of alternative care programs to refer patients to as required. Highland Ridge also offers three months of free after care services, including support groups, Internet-based tracking and interactive support services. A minimum of three months aftercare services are provided.
