Psychiatric & Mental Health Hospital in Utah

At Highland Ridge Hospital, a hospital for mental health treatment in Utah, we treat each person who comes to our center using our four guiding principles: care, concern, compassion, and competence as we strive to be a safe haven of support for all we meet.

Many people who come to our hospital struggling with mental health disorders or chemical dependency are struggling with more than their presenting symptoms. We offer dual diagnosis, or co-occurring disorder, treatment at our hospital for those struggling with a combination of two or more mental health or substance abuse disorders to help each person we treat achieve their maximum level of functioning.

When clients first come to our hospital, they will undergo a variety of evaluations to help us determine if they are struggling with more than one type of mental illness. If it is learned throughout these evaluations that a client has one or more co-occurring disorders in addition to the presenting disorder, we will use this information to create a treatment plan at our center. The treatment plan will be created specifically for each client and will include treatment of all disorders in a holistic manner. Treatment options for co-occurring disorders may include detox, medication, and a wide array of therapeutic techniques designed to heal the whole person – mind, body, and soul.

Highland Ridge is the best place to go for mental health treatment. They help not only the client, but the client's family too.
